Getaround

BRANDING | UI-UX

Project Brief

Getaround is a new car sharing service that enables people to instantly share their cars within the local community. People are able to list their personal car for neighbors to borrow, or locate and unlock a car near them to use at their convenience. Getaround gets cars off the road, promotes bringing the community together, and provides opportunity for micro-entrepreneurship.

This project consists of a mobile app with an Apple Watch extension, as well as a complete rebrand of the company and advertising campaign. For this group project, my responsibilities included branding/identity, initial UX research, website design, copywriting, and advertisements.
Team Members: Valerie Costilla, Emily Glenn, Edgar Viramontes

Montserrat is a modern sans-serif font chosen for its minimalistic approach to several letterforms, as well as its variety of weights. The color palette consiting of green, blue and purple was chosen to convey an inviting, user-friendly experience as well as an energetic culture. The palette is accompanied with two tints of each color.
